Looking forward to the spring

During these dark, damp dingy days  of January I am focusing on plans for the spring and summer. My colleague Iain and I are busy getting organised ready to launch Boston History Tours in the spring. We are going to get ourselves established this year ready for the Mayflower 400 celebrations when we are looking forward to welcoming many American visitors to Boston . We have a FB page called Boston History Tours and soon will be launching a website or having a section about them on my website wwwjanekeightley.net

I am also going to be teaching evening classes about how to become a travel writer in the spring. I will be announcing more details about this shortly.

As regards press trips  am hopefully visiting the French Alps to retrace my steps from a trip there 50 years ago and am in the process of planning many more.

Another aim is to build up my blogs and my FB pages.

Last year I enjoyed some great trips to Italy where I visited Piedmont, Florence and Bologna. I also had a flying visit to Newquay which was great. I also really enjoyed my research for writing my article for the Sun . I was lucky enough to visit many aviation sites in Lincolnshire so I could write an article celebrating the centenary of the RAF .

My article about my trip to the Palio in Siena should be in The Daily Mail anytime now
